A date for your diary and your sat nav: – Tuesday 31st August @ Social Unit 10 Alexandra Centre, Rail Mill Way, Parkgate, Rotherham. S62 6 JE [from the little Asda roundabout in Parkgate turn left on to Beale Way; first turn left onto Alexandra Centre at Secprint and veer left to the end of the car parking] 10.30am to 1pm.

A group of Social eyes clients moved to an industrial unit in Parkgate late last year and the members of our Tuesday team have been working hard on a new project.
The group wanted the project to have an industrial link, which would allow our members to learn new skills, develop entrepreneurial opportunities & help build individuals confidence & wellbeing.
With this is mind the research, brain storming & planning began.
To cut a long story short, we are extremely proud to inform you that CREATIONS at Social eyes is now in full operation every Tuesday.

This is a creative group that will produce items to sell to members of the public. The first project to be launched is our ‘wax melts project’.
It’s now one week before our CREATIONS launch date and excitement is definitely building at The Social Unit and up at the Harding Avenue hub. socialuniteyes@gmail.com

It is a huge significant day for everyone at socialeyesrotherham.co.uk, our first commercial community event in over 18 months due to Covid.
The Green team are very proud of our service, the service users & of course our newly created wax melts.
It will also be an opportunity for our fantastic SOCIAL EARS (parents & carers forum) to reunite, share a brew & meet new parents & carers who are now linked to our service, let’s bring some normality back to our service.
We really hope you can all make the event on Tuesday, but if you can’t why not come along to the Wednesday coffee mornings up at the Drop in Centre on Harding Avenue, Rawmarsh. S62 7ED.
The coffee mornings begin on Wednesday 22nd September and everyone is welcome for a cuppa and a chat. All the drinks [hot and cold] will be £1.
Please, don’t be a stranger; come and make new friends and see what is on offer at the new revamped Parkgate/Rawmarsh Community Centre on Harding Avenue. We are right behind the bus stop and although there is limited parking in our car park, there is lots of on road parking.
