Our café is just about ready to welcome ‘ladies and gentlemen that lunch.’ The official launch is due shortly but we are open for business every Tuesday now.
The café is set within the Wickersley Methodist Church which is situated next to Wickersley library on the Tanyard roundabout.
The café opens on Tuesday lunch times between 12 and 2 with a fantastic home-made menu.
The soup of the day last Tuesday when we visited was a superb leek and potato with crusty bread. Also available are jacket potatoes with various fillings, sandwiches or salads. Fruit scones that were as light as feather, lemon cake or chocolate cake rounded off a delightful lunch served in bright airy surroundings. Made and served by the youngsters it is well worth a visit.
