Football training still on a Friday, despite leaving the league as Social Eyes looks for games during service hours

S. Yorks.ACL bids  Social Eyes Green and White Army a fond farewell.

Some sad news from www.southyorkshireabilitycountsleague.com as Rawmarsh St. Joseph’s Social Eyes FC have reluctantly decided to step away from the League with immediate effect.

Social Eyes entered the SYAL in the 2018/9 season under the umbrella of Parkgate Football Club and from season 2019/20 have been affiliated with Rawmarsh St. Josephs JFC.

In that 2019/20 the club won the Division One title in only their second full season – a fantastic achievement.

Social Eyes have been a popular club in our League and are regularly followed by a vocal, supportive, and friendly bunch of carers and fans – the “Green Army.”

Social Eyes Claire Hobson told www.SYorksACL editor Margaret Gregory, “This was not an easy decision. We have had the best time being part of this amazing league, made friends for life and are all richer for being involved.”

“With this in mind can I please express our sincere thanks and gratitude to all who make it the fantastic League it is and has been for us.”

“A special thank you to yourself Mike, Colin and Margaret,” Claire added, “who have always offered true professional support to Social Eyes.”

Our footballers will still train every Friday and we are looking to organise  friendly games during our day service hours or evenings.
