The week started with a delightful visit to Wath Wood farm, where we had the opportunity to feed the animals, including playful goats and adorable sheep, and engage with the friendly farm staff who shared fascinating stories about their daily routines. After spending a joyous morning on the farm, we returned to the hub filled with energy, ready for an array of fun activities that included group exercises and team-building games, which not only kept us fit but also strengthened our camaraderie and boosted our spirits.

On Tuesday, it was an exciting day out filled with opportunities to explore and learn, as we ventured into the park, where more animals awaited to be fed and cared for. The sun shone brightly above, casting a warm glow on the vibrant surroundings, enhancing the joy of interacting with the various species that called this place home. Each stop along the way presented us with the chance to watch majestic creatures up close, and it was our responsibility to ensure they were well-fed and content throughout the day.

The Banned’s latest gig was at Forest View School, and the audience was excited to see the performance. Set against the backdrop of the school’s familiar walls, the atmosphere was electric as fans anticipating an unforgettable music set. The band took to the stage, their enthusiasm infectious, creating a vibrant connection that filled the air with a sense of pure joy and excitement.

And back at the hubs, preparation for Mother’s Day was in full swing, with songs and creations helping with vibrant paper flowers being arranged and heartfelt cards being crafted to express love and appreciation. Excitement and anticipation buzzed as everyone worked together, eager to celebrate the amazing women in their lives.
