It’s been a busy start to the new week at home, but looking forward to Wednesday when we return to KCM Arena @ Stubbin courtesy of Rawmarsh St Josephs football club. We hope the sunshine stays all week, but even if it rains, we will enjoy. 💚 💚 💚

Today tested the resolve of the hardy Social Eyes gang. The photos below show that even with the blackest of clouds overhead and the showers of rain the fun and laughter still continued.

As our Harding Avenue venue is too small for Covid social distancing the gang are meeting three days a week on St Josephs football field at Stubbin. So, although the open air was great when the sun shone, today 1st July we have winter coats, hats and gloves and not forgetting the umbrellas. But the dancing and singing in the rain [with umbrellas] was better than any Gene Kelly rendition.

At least we didn’t have to cancel today’s meet but if anyone has a large covered space they would like to loan us for the wet days please get in touch. 💚 💚 💚💚 💚 💚💚 💚 💚
