supporttoachieve

We are so excited that the Christmas Lights’ Switch-on is only 6 weeks away!
Welcoming the festive season to the borough is one of our favourite things to do and we hope that you can join us.

Helping us celebrate this year is the one and only Smashby who brought such a great energy to this year’s Rotherham Pride and Rotherham Show, plus The Banned will be performing and Rotherham Youth Choir.
The live music stage in All Saints Square will be hosted by Rotherham Radio with the Mayor of Rotherham switching on the lights at 6pm.

There will also be street performers, installations, creative workshops, a gift market and more!
The Lights’ Switch-On is brought to you by Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council and will take place in Rotherham town centre on Saturday 16th November, 3pm until 6pm.
See you there!

It’s a girl

It’s been a hectic and busy week here at Social Eyes Rotherham.

Wednesday marked Chelsea’s final day before her maternity leave was set to begin, yet the baby decided to make an early entrance the following day, and it’s a girl!

Visit the Social Eyes Facebook page to watch the amazing video our Visual Eyes team created for Chelsea.

Rehearsal week for the Show Offs’ upcoming production, “There Goes Another Year,” is in full swing, with performances scheduled for October 1st and 2nd. Tickets are now on sale.

Our Helping Hands group was bustling around our hub, with many tasks to accomplish.

This week, the Jolly Boys team was out enjoying the video games once more.

The Social Eyes Creations team is diligently preparing for their upcoming stall. They will showcase a variety of their products for sale at the event! Be sure to secure your tickets and come see the newest ‘creations’ on offer.

All in all this week at our bases, we’ve celebrated new births and had fun; at the church, our on-site group spent the afternoon taste-testing and dancing, while our helping hands group has been engaged in various projects throughout the building.

Visiting the cafe on Tuesday, the meals were as fantastic as ever.

At Social Eyes Rotherham on Princess Street, West Melton, S63 6RD, there’s something for everyone, every day and every week, culminating in a trip to Ikea to round off this week.
