Social Eyes are delighted to announce that Social Eyes day service will very soon have a new premise to use. The new premise will be a building solely for our purpose.

It is exciting news and we are eagerly awaiting to see the inside of our new building, which is currently being renovated to a high standard. Meanwhile our garden group has been up there weeding and tidying the front of the building.

We cannot wait to move some of current provision and activities into the new premises and we are also looking forward to rolling out new activities once we are in.

We are so looking forward to making new happy memories together in our new special place.

Social Eyes shows

Hi everyone, sorry I have been missing for a few weeks but I have had a new knee inserted but am now back in partial action. Over the next few days I will try to catch up with the things you have missed while I have been hospitalised.

First the Montgomery Hall show with our drama group. The Show Offs Live shows were a great success and every member of the team was extremely proud and rightly so! Montgomery Hall at Wath has supported Social Eyes dreams of putting on a show, and from our first show in September 2019 to our most recent show they have been lovely and welcomed us with open arms. The team at Montgomery have also allowed us to display our sweet treats and handmade cards all year round, as well as opening their doors to let our bus groups have their dinner on days where the weather hasn’t always been on our side.

A massive thankyou to Lynn and her team at Montgomery Hall for always doing their best to help us.

Below photos from the latest show.

Bake Off comes to Rotherham

Bake Off comes to Social Eyes Rotherham.

Chocolate, Mandarin and Strawberry cheesecakes were the dishes in the test, with the chocolate being the winner. The winning cooks were awarded certificates.

To be honest, after tasting all three in your editor’s opinion they were all equally delicious.

Well done everyone.
