The Banned are back in rehearsal

What an exciting week for everyone. We will catch up over the weekend, but today’s feature is the return of our rock group to their rehearsal space at Trinity Community Centre in Thorpe Hesley.

Wonderful surroundings, set in the grounds of  Holy Trinity Church, Thorpe Hesley and Scholes; superb acoustics, second CD here we come.

Once inside it was all hands to set up the equipment and start to rock.

Krispie buns, music, dance and football training

A very busy Friday to round off the first week back at the Harding Avenue hub and the Parkgate Hub.

Up at Harding it was bake day in the front hall while in the rear hall it was music and movement. As we weren’t back for Easter it was decided to make Easter egg buns. Great fun was had by the bakers, as with their drink bottles, they broke up the biscuits and chocolate first. Then the added extras [choc crispies, marshmallows] and finally the finished bun ready to take home.

Down at Parkgate the footballers had returned and enjoyed a football training day and even let a girl join in.

And finally it was Callum’s birthday, with cake and card delivered by Ryan.
