Craft, fun and games, the park and Elland Road

Wow, busy day up at Social Eyes today. At Harding Ave it was a craft day as it was at Wickersley Cricket Club with a few games thrown in to the mix. The ramblers were out and about again. While other group were at Elland Road!!

Let’s begin with the crafting and games at Harding Ave and Wickersley Cricket Club.

More fun out and about in the park.

And Leeds United, Elland Rd.

Craftwork, indoor sport, The Banned practise and the art of sanitising

Busy Friday down at the unit where it was indoor sport on the agenda rather than on a windy outdoor field. The Banned were in practise mode up @ Stubbin, but indoors this time; while the walking group were out for a socially distanced walk around the Monkwood area, just checking the pub was ok!!

First up are the Harding Avenue crew enjoying craftwork and the walkers.

Now here’s the new unit. A great deal of fun was had in the keep fit/sporting events.

The Banned up in the pavilion @KCM Arena, Stubbin kindly loaned by Rawmarsh St Josephs JFC, so no neighbours to annoy up here.

And even some volunteers learning the art of sanitising.

Technical problems, conker hunting & duck feeding plus the new unit is open

Sorry everyone about no post yesterday, there was a problem uploading the photos. We hate for you to miss seeing our fun packed days that we all enjoy.

Still never mind we have a bumper edition today of all the activities that have been taking place. So, make yourself a cuppa and perhaps a biscuit and here we go.

First up we have photos from Harding Ave base camp.

Next we have photos from the new unit. As you can see although classed as an industrial unit we are making it very homely. The carpet is down and I’m sure the artists in our group will soon have the walls brightened with artwork and craftwork, as we do up at Harding Avenue. Wednesday it was our drama group that were first to use the building but I’m sure it will be as busy as base camp from now on.

Next we have the local walks since Monday.

Here come the trips out to feed the ducks by one group, while another went conker hunting.

And finally some of our group were up at Wickersley Cricket Club.
