Lots of crafts this week

The secondary glazing install at the church (church side) is complete and looking great with the original features still in place, thanks for everyone’s patience during the works. Here are a few pics and a huge THANK YOU to C&L Windows for doing such a wonderful job.

Halloween preparations are in full swing, with vibrant decorations adorning every corner of the Social Eyes hub. Pumpkins expertly carved with intricate designs, and the flavourful pulp has been transformed into a hearty filling soup that warms the soul. Spooky buns, beautifully baked and skillfully decorated with ghoulish icing, add a festive touch to the treat table, enticing everyone who passes by. As laughter fills the air, the ambiance is enhanced by a lively mix of music and dancing for people of all ages to join in on the fun. All in all, it’s a souper douper day at the Social Eyes hub, where community spirit shines and memories are crafted amidst the Halloween festivities.

Another busy week filled with a plethora of different activities as we transition through the vibrant colors of autumn into the chillier embrace of winter, with the festive spirit of Christmas looming ever closer on the horizon. As the leaves fall and the days grow shorter, we’re engaging in preparations for the holiday season, from decorating our homes with twinkling lights to planning festive gatherings with family and friends, creating moments that we will cherish for years to come. The excitement builds as we look forward to the delightful traditions that accompany this time of year, making it truly special and memorable.

What a week! Many varied indoor and outdoor activities to enjoy, from games and music,exhilarating walks in the great outdoors and community activities. Whether it was trying out new recipes in the kitchen or soaking up the sun at the park, every moment was filled with excitement and relaxation. Each day brought a new opportunity for adventure, making memories that will last long after the week has ended.
