Wathwood hospital farm shop

Monday so must be farm visiting at Wathwood hospital.

The Farm Shop

The Farm Shop sells fresh fruit and vegetables, plants and flowers, hand-crafted gifts and jams, pickles, honey and chutneys made by our patients and staff at Wathwood Hospital. Most goods are grown and produced on site, with additional produce sourced from local markets. The Farm Shop is a great place to buy ethically and reduce your food miles. The chance to chat with customers helps patients to develop confidence and improve their employability, as well as encouraging a better understanding of mental health issues with the wider public.

Seasonal produce can be purchased from our Farm Shop. In previous years we have offered a variety of different fruit and vegetables including salad crops such as tomatoes, cucumbers and lettuce.

The Farm Shop opening times are:

  • Public opening: Saturdays and Sundays, 9am – 3pm
  • Staff only: Mondays and Fridays

Café crew excel again, gardeners in action and drama group swinging

Once again the café was booked to capacity and why not when there is food like this on offer in a welcoming, warm venue at the Wickersley Cricket Club every Tuesday.

Fancy a visit? It’s so popular you must book in advance.

Well done the café crew, beautiful.

Back up at Harding Ave base there is a clean up going on.

Meanwhile at Swinton the drama group are in full swing and the Parkgate creative group are busy designing.
