Our helping hands group and leisure community outing group have had a fun day, today.

A visit to the farm this week.

The drama group were in action too.

And the golf swings came under scrutiny at the practice range.

Life skills on Friday as the group cooked their own lunches.

Meanwhile the footballers of the group enjoyed a day out at Chesterfield FC and training down at the Parkgate hub.

So proud of all the members of our Boogie to Buckingham palace fund raiser, they worked so hard raising funds for Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice.

This week we delivered presents from their wish list and gave a cash donation.

Meanwhile at the Tuesday Social Stop Café at Wickersley Cricket Club it was business as usual despite the heat.

Fancy joining them next Tuesday give them a ring and book your table. Eat in or take away and if you can’t manage to eat everything we will happily box it up to take home.

The heat this week has made the activities all about the outdoors and keeping cool and hydrated.
