Today it’s another Social Eyes travelogue, this time to the Idle Valley Nature Reserve, North Road, Retford, Nottinghamshire. DN22 8RQ., one of the largest sites for nature conservation in the East Midlands

The café and shop at Idle Valley Nature Reserve are open between 10am and 3pm for drinks, cakes with test and trace in place. Toilets are open.

The car park and reserve remains open for visitors to enjoy at the recommended 2 metre distance from others.

Between the showers a trip to check on the birds of the flock art installation that took place last year at Wentworth Woodhouse, then a trip to Hillsborough Park.

A trip out while back at base the paint pots were out, sprucing up the garden equipment. Down at Parkgate it was knock ’em down and stick ’em back up.

It’s Friday, so it’s baking day at the Harding Ave hub, however this week it’s a production line for chocolate lollies that need no cooking. A day out at Clifton Park and fun and games down at the Parkgate hub.
