A busy start to the week at Harding and Parkgate hubs. The wildlife once again came out to greet the groups who were out and about, while back at the hubs Martin and his assistant were busy building a shelfing unit.

A great baking day on Friday with Tesco’s finest ingredients. First we draw it, then we mix it and finally our own home grown strawberries join the mix and produce chocolate fruit shortcake.

And Happy Birthday Sam.

Wildlife was the highlight on our trips so far this week. LLamas, squirrels and ducks and swans, with even an appearance of the Wentworth flock of birds which has now been moved to the country park.

Meanwhile back at the hubs it was crafts and exercise.

Up at the Harding hub it was outside to pick the strawberries, inside to paint a picture of them and then the end result was to make them into a strawberry trifle.

Down at the Parkgate hub it was more games, the Euro sweep and a visit to Barnsley FC ground.

Another day of outdoor visits.
